Natural Stress Relief Aids | Parenting Stress Index

Here is a brief index of the top things that will cause parents stress in a handy index.
Illness: when your child is ill, there is nothing more worrying, mainly because we are so helpless to make our little ones feel better.

It is not only serious illnesses that can cause us stress when they attack our children, but the minor coughs, colds and sniffles can cause a parent a massive amount of stress.

That is mainly because of the effects it will have on both theirs and your routine.

Quality time: getting to spend quality time with our children has to be one of the most important things that we want to do. And yet managing to get that fun and important quality time with your child can be terribly difficult when trying to do the hundreds of other jobs that as a parent you need to do.

The best way to ensure you do get the quality time with your child is to book it in like you would with a business meeting. Not only does this give it the importance that you need to attribute to quality time, but also it makes it immovable.

School commitments: by the time your child hits school, you believe you may have more spare time. Unfortunately, there s isn’t always the case as many schools have parent programmes and in addition to this, the extracurricular activities your children will want to attend will need your support.

Try neither to over commit yourself, nor to beat yourself up if you can’t be everywhere all of the time.
