When you were in school and needed to study who did you study with?

If you are like most people you said someone smarter than you.

You did this because you hoped that by doing this some of that knowledge would wear off on you.

Sleep aids

You would have the benefit of the wisdom and knowledge of your peers. Then why don’t you do this with your personal and professional life?

We all know that it is easier to tear down a house than to build it. When you tear something down you can pull it apart Willie nilly and not care about how you achieve your goal. The only goal is that the house needs to be down.

That’s not how you would build it though. When you build a house you want to make sure that it has a solid foundation and that the walls support the structure.

Likewise when you do the finish work, you want to take your time and make things look perfect. You’ll make sure that the trim is sanded before you paint and that the wallpaper has no bubbles in it.

When you surround yourself with people who tear you down your creating a toxic environment. Just like the house it is easier to tear down others than to build them up. It is also easier to complain about not having the life you want to live than to create it.

People expel an incredible amount of energy complaining about their lives instead of doing anything about it. It is easy and unfortunately, socially acceptable to blame others for the injustices of the world. This is creating a toxic environment for you.

You will believe the negativity that other people are expelling. You will feel as if its not worth working for a better job or relationship. Before you know it you will be tired and withered from the toxicity of that environment.

People who are successful in their relationships and their careers are able to create an environment where they can flourish. When I surround myself with positive, intelligent, and energetic people I feel that positive energy. I am able to achieve those things I set out to and I am able to rely on my friends to support me and guide me through decisions.

When we surround ourselves with people who have the same goals and attitudes we do we are doing our finish work. We are creating an environment that we can thrive in. When you go the next step and surround yourself with people who have what you want then you are studying with people smarter than you.

You are able to draw from their knowledge and wisdom. You are also able to see first hand those things that are important to you in action. This includes everything from relationships, fitness, and finances.

If we create an environment that encourages us then we are able to achieve our dreams.
